Black Eyed Peas Retire “My Humps”

The Black Eyed Peas have retired their infectious 2005 hit “My Humps,” opting to no longer play the song live in concert. BEP frontman Will.i.am doesn’t want to sing it anymore, which is perfect because nobody wants to hear it. The producer admits that the hit single — featuring the infamous chorus “My hump, My hump, My hump, My lovely little lumps…” — probably isn’t his best work lyrically.

“For a while, [we did] My Humps and then it got to the point where we didn’t want to play My Humps no more. You know, ’cause, ‘I met a girl down at the disco,’ I just didn’t want to say that no more, lyrically,” Will explained to MTV News this week.
