Tamil Actress, Shriya Saran was born on 11th September, 1982 in Uttarakhand, India.She is an Indian film actress, model and host and shortly called Shriya.
Shriya grew up in Ranipur. She studied at the Delhi Public School and acquired a B.A in Literature from Lady Sri Ram College. She is also a Kathak dancer and trained under Shobha Narayan. Shriya started her career as a model and did many commercials and music albums before geting into movees.Sriya’s First Tamil movie was Enakku 20 Unakku 18 (2003). The actress Shriya’s Telugu debut in 2001 was Ishtam, but it failed to do well at box office.
Shriya came into limelight after the release of “Santhosham” in 2002 where she played a leading role with Nagarjuna. Shriya Saran has won South Style award in the category of Best Tamil Actress For Sivaji: The Boss in 2007, Stardust Eciting New Face Award For Mission Istanbul in 2008 & in 2009, she won Amrita Mathrubhumi Award for the category of Best Actress in Tamil for Kanthaswamy.
